2018 Volvo XC90 Technical Service Bulletins

557 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2018 Volvo XC90. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.

• 10128175Oct 3, 2017Equipment. This is a Technical Journal: A whining or rattling sound may appear when revving up the engine. ( see attached sample files ). The sound may come from the balance shaft which is fitted in the oil sump area where the noise is most concentrated. A new design of the balance shaft is planned to be introduced 2018-Q2. Replace the balance shaft according the instructions in VIDA.
