“I am told that a bolt came lose inside the transmission and I was very lucky it not happened when I was on the freeway. There was no warning the car worked fine and then it didn't. It is still in the shop. They have to replace the transmission. And since I have such high milage it is no longer under warrenty. I have been without transportation for over 2 weeks and it will be another week before I can pick my car up. I know from reading your web sight that my model Acura is not the one thats suppose to have the transmission problem.. …”

I've been told that I'm lucky I was not on the freeway. I had it towed to an auto repair shop last friday. 2 days ago they called to inform me a bolt had come off inside the transmission and it would have to be replaced. The transmission not the bolt!!! It would cost $2550.00 and would not be ready until next week. I informed them I wanted a detailed report on exactly what had happened and all damaged parts. …”
