“The certified pre-owned (cpo) 2017 Acura MDX I purchased ion 07/24/20 from davis Acura in langhorne, pa should not be classified as a cpo! I paid my automotive repair shop of 20 years that maintained my lexus suvs to do their own 83-point detailed inspection on the Acura MDX.I was shocked in their reporting wheel alignment needed - recommended left rear tire edge wear & body ' evidence of previous accident damage to rear bumper, right front door, left side doors, left rear quarter panel & left front fender. …”

NHTSA complaint #11354825, filed 2020-09, 15,440 miles

“It was 46 outside when I was driving down I-10. My sunroof exploded with no apparent cause. Only car on interstate at the time. Not passing under overpass or following behind any vehicle that could've thrown rocks. The break in the sunroof was in an upward fashion, as if it broke from the inside out (as if related to increased pressure). The piece of glass that was broken was a large sheet, still intact. It seems if an outside obstacle (such as a rock or debris) would've caused the sunroof to shatter, the glass would've been in many more pieces/shards. …”

NHTSA complaint #11057220, filed 2017-12, 3,800 miles

“Sunroof exploded - driving vehicle around 60mph on misty rainy overcast day. All of a sudden sunroof shatters (no car around for rock or pebble projection).”

NHTSA complaint #11240845, filed 2019-07, 13,000 miles

“i bought new car in 2017 November and around over 2500k miles I heard engine chirping sound and if you're surrounded by wall you can hear it louder. took it to dealership several time but they said it's normal and show me another car to prove to me. Which it did had same sound. Then yrs go by I hear loud clunking sound underneath the car every time I reversed and when switching gear to reverse. …”

NHTSA complaint #11561793, filed 2023-12

“The paint on my roof at the sunroof is peeling in the same exact manner the the already existing Warranty Extension: White Diamond Pearl Paint in Service Bulletin 19-029 or Models 2014-2016, I am aware that this Acura MDX is a 2017 02/17 to be exact and from the same MFG of Alabama that these issues are reported. if you look at the example pictures on the service warranty that are EXACT to the issues with the paint on mine. I have the same paint Color listed as NH603-P and I would like this covered as the year previous model.”
