2016: “My Acura mdx 2016 is well maintained, only 42500 miles,bought brand new from dealer, problem started 6 months ago, accelerator, rpm goes up even on 20 miles driving, and car just stops and gear goes to park mode..dealer inspected, they said transmission needs to be replaced, contacted NCDS, their respond I passed the warranty of 7 years, not covered. Dealer charging 7100 to fix issues.”
NHTSA complaint #11641551, filed 2025-02, 43,000 miles2020: “I had purchased this vehicle and was not aware there was a stop sale on this vehicle model. I took the 2020 MDX to the dealer to get the recall service done, the connecting rod bearing and fuel pump issues. They were done back in March of 2024, j had taken the vehicle back to the dealer over 5 times for issues with stalling and trouble turning back on as well as engine noise, ticking and stalling. …”
NHTSA complaint #11632790, filed 2024-12, 54,651 miles2017: “While driving on normal road with no other cars around, the emergency braking system/forward collision activated and immediately stopped my car with no danger present. This resulted in the car behind me swerve to avoid hitting me in the rear. No warning lights were on the dash or no audible warning either. This seems to be a malfunction in the system.”
