2020: “I was accelerating to approximately 55mph to pass a vehicle. As soon as I completed the pass,the engine decelerated to 20 MPH and the check engine light was flashing. Fortunately for us we were able to get the car safely off of the road. We then shut the engine off. Waited about 5 minutes restarted the engine and it ran fine the rest of the way home.”
NHTSA complaint #11362096, filed 2020-09, 9,100 miles2016: “While accelerating the car started stuttering and lost power. It seemed like it was in neutral. At the light I shifted to park and back to drive and the same problem occurred. I was only 2 blocks from home so I checked all fluid levels and they are all ok. I drove the car around the block several times and the problem went away.”
NHTSA complaint #11412945, filed 2021-04, 108,000 miles2014: “I was driving on a local street and I heard a loud pop. But I did not see anything bounce off the car. Than I heard wind noise from the sunroof and particles. I than drove home slowly and look on top of my car the sunroof was shatter and had a big hole. I google the problem and there were incident that happen the same like me.”
