2018: “When returning from a 40 mile trip to naples florida, the vehicle stability system displayed failure warning lights. When I made it back to my condo in cape coral, there was s total system failure locking out the transmission, inability to put the car in neutral, antilock brakes, etc. This could have been a major safety issue had I been on the highway .”
NHTSA complaint #11310443, filed 2020-02, 12,640 miles2015: “When accelerating the car trips into neutral and will not let me continue accelerating. I can push the pedal all the way to the floor and nothing will happen. The only way it trips out of neutral is to release the pedal and then push it again. This happens when already driving around 10-30mph not from a stopped position and was on city streets. It does also happen when turning.”
NHTSA complaint #11388342, filed 2021-01, 94,000 miles2019: “I stopped(stationary) at a light to make a left turn into the freeway. While stationary the engine went into automatic idle stop to save gas and once the light turn green the car was not able to turn on at all and had to call aaa. It was giving me error messages in regards fuel pump and brake system etc. In the dash.”
