“Takata recall-my vehicle has been in Acura (macchurchill) since february 23, 2016. They said it could take as long as until september before my vehicle is repaired. In addition, I recently discovered that my airbags had been previously deployed on this vehicle. I was never notified of this, nor did I sign an airbag disclosure statement form. The dealership states they are not required to have me sign this form.”

“Have been waiting for a year & a half for the Acura dealer to get me in to replace my airbags and every time I call I am told I am still on a very long list. Sure hope we don't get in a wreck & god forbid have shrapnel kill us.”

NHTSA complaint #11010916, filed 2017-07

“Takata recall. The contact owns a 2013 Acura TL. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v061000(front driver air bags) however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Dg”
