“Driving to work 3/19/20 at 7:15am. The sunroof shattered. The shade was open and glass shards covered my wife and the inside of the car. There were no vehicles within a 1/4 mile. There were no bridges she drove under within a mile. I called and spoke to the local Acura dealership asking if there was a campaign or recall or if this was a known issue. I was told to contact a collision center to get fixed as there was no warranty. I asked to speak with the service manager and have not heard back as of yet.”

NHTSA complaint #11318713, filed 2020-03, 37,500 miles

“While driving the car in bright sunlight there is a clare reflection from the drivers and passenger's dashboard vents that reflects strongly on the interior side window right where the left and right side view mirrors are located. The glare can be very strong on sunny days that it makes it difficult to discern if a vehicle really is in the side view mirrors. This glare comes from the chrome vents outline. This is a systemic problem as I've driven three different 2016 TLX all with the same issue. I have reported this issue to the Acura dealer where I bought it. …”

NHTSA complaint #10887912, filed 2016-07, 6,184 miles

“Side view mirrors have a reflection of inside vents. This is very dangerous, when you have an obstructed view. Can cause serious accident. I could not see side view because of reflection.”

NHTSA complaint #10886004, filed 2016-07, 10 miles

“The contact owns a 2016 Acura TLX. While driving 70 MPH, a loud noise was heard. The contact noticed that the sun roof exploded without warning. NHTSA complaint #10957515, filed 2017-02, 7,200 miles
