Example complaints

Electrical system: “In Feb 2025, I was involved in an accident where a driver damaged my driver's side door. I brought my car to the Fix Auto Downtown LA location for repairs. Cosmetically the door was repaired, but over the next year my latch would temporarily lock, preventing access and requiring me to enter through my passenger side door/climb over the center console. In Feb 2026, the latch permanently closed. In Jan 2026, I hit debris on the freeway, which required a repair of my front bumper and undercarriage. …”

Fuel system: “The contact owns a 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia. The contact stated that it was difficult refuel the fuel to full. Additionally, it was difficult to insert the nozzle into the fuel filler neck. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed, and it was determined that the fuel vapor canister had become clogged and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the vapor canister had been replaced twice within 4 years. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.”

NHTSA complaint #11716279, filed 2026-02, 17,000 miles

Other or unknown: “I was driving on the highway with no one in front of me and not under any overpass or bridge when my sunroof exploded. It was a sunny day and there is no way anything struck the glass. The dealership is claiming outside sources caused the problem but there is no way. It spontaneously exploded.”
