“After finalizing the purchase of a 2022 Alliance RV Paradigm 295MK trailer at Giant RV dealership in Colton California we started our drive home. After driving 2 hours and 80 miles, I was notified by a fellow driver on 101 freeway in Woodland Hills California that I should pull over something was wrong. When I was able to pull off the freeway safely and made a turn I saw a trail of water behind my trailer. Once I pulled over I saw that my freshwater holding tank had fallen and I was dragging it.”

The contact stated that while the RV was parked, the contact and his wife became aware that the awning fabric had separated partially at the heat weld of the fabric. The awning was then closed and almost instantly, the fabric fell to the ground, and the arms were bent. The RV was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact believed that the failure was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V512000 (Equipment). The manufacturer was notified of the failure.”
