“I live in kauai, hi. There is no Audi dealer. They refuse to send someone over from oahu to fix the airbags. They want me to pay $500 for shipping and be without my car for 2 weeks, in addition there are now 2 airbag recalls one of which they have no fix for and its been 1 year. Meanwhile I am still driving the car and it is very dangerous. I have spent hours on the phone with them and they refuse to solve this issue.”

“I live on the island of kauai. Audie of america will not let me take it to a dealer other than Audi to have this problem fixed. There are no Audi or volks. Dealers on kauai. They will not pay to have my car shipped to ohau to fix the air bag at the dealership there what am I supposed to do?”

“Takata recall - notice has been received of takata driver's airbag recall, but no parts available for recall. I cannot safely drive my car now if the airbag may explode and kill me! I have been driving a potential death trap and am very afraid.”

NHTSA complaint #10863443, filed 2016-05, 78,000 miles

“Takata recall: I am still waiting for the second repair to be made on my vehicle regarding this recall. I truly don't feel safe driving my car knowing there is a possibility of the airbag exploding harmful objects into my face in the case of an accident. I am repeatedly being told the manufacturer has not produced the parts for my local Audi dealership to finish the repair work. I'm wondering what the hold up is, and what I can do as a driver to protect myself in the meantime? Is there a timeline that manufacturers have to complete recall services, and if so, when is that time up? …”

NHTSA complaint #11118993, filed 2018-08, 77,000 miles

“Takata recall.I have had no information from Audi since the initial notice in april. My car will be 10 years old this coming april. According to news media there is suppose to be some priority status set based on age and location but I can not find what my priority is. Given the lack of action I would like my priority number or approval to disconnect this safety hazard!”
