“Subject: pirelli p6 four seasons passenger/performance tire. I have never, until I purchased an Audi a4 equipped with the aforementioned tire, had tires that suddenly deflate, develop bulges in the sidewall and fail unexpectedly at the slightest bump in the road. I have replaced all of my tires. And have now started replacing the replacements. Many of them were replaced with less than 5000 miles. The car is dealer maintained at the recommended intervals. This is a dangerous and frustrating experience. …”
NHTSA complaint #10182720, filed 2007-02“The suspension in front tires keep going out. And when I did the research as to how to fix this problem on an Audi it stated that they are familiar with the problem and are of this problem but see any reason as to why they should fix it. Even though the problem existed when the car reached a certain part.”
