“According to the owner’s manual, “Lane guidance provides corrective steering to assist the driver with keeping the vehicle in the center of the lane.” On delivery of the vehicle, I noticed that in highway conditions the system consistently steered the vehicle to hug the right side of the lane. I had to “fight” to keep the vehicle in the middle of the lane. Also, the Advanced Driver Assist Lane Guidance feature randomly shut itself off. I could switch it back on in the touch screen menu. Subsequently the Advanced Driver Assist Lane Guidance option completely disappeared from the menu. …”

NHTSA complaint #11577019, filed 2024-03

“The autopilot feature engaged and took control of the car. I could not wrestle control back even after I turn the car off and back on. I had to fight the car for 32 miles. From Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton, FL. This happened for the first time last night 12/31 at 12:01 am. And it happened again at around 12:20 am. There was no warning lights only a lamp turned on after it had engaged. It also started showing the two lines marking the lane where I was traveling. It made it very hard to change lanes as I had to fight the auto pilot. I was driving on HWY US 1. …”

NHTSA complaint #11445715, filed 2021-12

“Vehicle was serviced in 2025 for an electrical issue impacting multiple electrical components of car. Approximately one year later the car is back in the shop for both an electrical issue causing lane departure and now lane keep assist to trigger an error. I was told by the local dealership that it is likely related to an electrical module underneath the bumper of the rear of the car. …”

NHTSA complaint #11732832, filed 2026-04

“The infotainment system is damaged resulting in the display screen being blacked out. All of the safety features including rearview camera, parking assistance, Hands-free phone, and all other vehicle settings are not available. There are multiple warning notifications on the dashboard indicating a malfunction in the interior lighting, lane change, and parking systems. Even before the screen went out the rear camera would malfunction when the vehicle is in reverse. The sensor would cause the vehicle to abruptly brake even though there was no obstruction behind. …”
