The contact started the vehicle and a noise was exhibited from the engine. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was advised that the vehicle would need to be reprogrammed. The contact declined the repair. In addition, the contact stated that he received a recall letter from the manufacturer regarding certain bmws having problems with the fuel pump and reprogramming the vehicle if a warning light was illuminated. …”
