“I am notifying the NHTSA that Bmw has advised me that my car's passenger airbag needs to be recalled and replaced under the 14v-428 recall campaign. However, they are unable to perform this repair, they estimate, for months. I am thus forced to rent a car for long road trips, such as for thanksgiving and christmas, because my family member refuses to ride in the car. I have pressed Bmw to provide a repair or a loaner or re-imburse for a rental, and they refused on all three options.”
