After replacing a cis (capacitive sensing passenger occupancy mat), the new mat will not enable when using ista/p. The headlamps no longer turn with steering wheel movement. Fault code 800fc6 is entered in the footwell module (frm3). A second turn signal request is made at the exact moment when the steering wheel is automatically cancelling from a previous turn signal request. F07 (5 series), f01, f02, f07 (7 series).
- 10035010Oct 1, 2010Transmission and drivetrain. Bmw vehicle: transmission warning light is illuminated and the transmission enters failsafe mode. Fault code 4f81 (ratio monitoring, clutch a), in some cases combined with the subsequent faults 507b/507c (parking gear sensor implausible signal) or 507d (parking gear incorrectly disengaged), are stored in the egs control module. E60, e51, e65, e66, e70, e90, e91, e92, e93. No model years listed.
- 10034671Oct 1, 2010Engine cooling. Bmw: various vvt faults stored in dme memory. Service engine soon lamp is illuminated, and one of the following drivability concerns has occurred-engine cranks but will not start; loss of power; engine has poor throttle response (reduced power mode is displayed). No model years listed. *pe updated 2/7/11.
- 10037067Sep 1, 2010Body and structure. Bmw: the tailgate opens slower in low temperatures and doesnt fully open.
- 10041276Aug 1, 2010Engine cooling. Bmw: service engine soon light is on with a fault code stored. Internal dmtl pump failure.
- 10037052Aug 1, 2010Engine cooling. Bmw: bmw: there is a software error that is causing the service engine soon light to illuminate without a fault code.
- 10037051Aug 1, 2010Engine cooling. Bmw: there is a software error that is causing the service engine soon light to illuminate without a fault code.
- 10037050Aug 1, 2010Air bags. Bmw: operating description of the passenger airbag status light.
- 10037049Aug 1, 2010Fuel system, Engine cooling. Bmw: some models equipped with the n54 engine may have an excessive crank time before starting.
- 10037025Aug 1, 2010Exterior lighting. Bmw: procedure for determining and replacing incandescent and halogen light bulbs under warranty.
- 10037010Jul 1, 2010Engine cooling. Bmw: six different models equipped with the m54 engine could have valve covers break in cold weather and ruin the engine. This is due to moisture accumulation.
- 10034669Jul 1, 2010Fuel system, Engine cooling. Bmw: n54 engines-misfire faults, diagnosis with istad. Situation (1) service engine soon lamp is illuminated with various misfire fault codes (e.g., 29cc, 29d2, 29d1, 29d0, 29c0, 29cf) stored in dme control module. Do not follow the recommendation of the test plan to replace a complete set of the injectors. Situation (2) service engine soon lamp is illuminated and a single, individual cylinder misfire fault is…
- 10037061Jun 1, 2010Transmission and drivetrain. Bmw: a fault for oil wear is stored in the memory, but it does not illuminate the warning lamp.
- 10036979Jun 1, 2010Steering. Bmw: a new technical process has been created for bmw to identify causes of steering complaints with a wide range of models.
- 10034185Apr 1, 2010Electrical system, Equipment. Bmw: blower speed is greatly reduced when the vehicle is stationary. The blower indicator in the ihka control panel remains unchanged. System control software for the heating/air conditioning system is cause.
- 10033130Dec 1, 2009Fuel system. Bmw vehicles: fuel level sensor repairs. Where it is necessary to replace the right or the left side fuel level sensor due to a failure, the entire pump and housing or delivery unit (suction jet assembly) do not need to be replaced as well. In some cases, epc does not show that the repair kit is available separately in the illustration, but it is available in the parts description. All models. No model years listed.
- 10032646Oct 1, 2009Engine cooling. Bmw vehicles: edk throttle potentiometer faults-diagnosis. Models e60, e63, e64, e65, e66, and e70. The service engine soon and dsc/dtc warning lamps are illuminated. The engine enters the power reduction (fail safe) mode.
- 10032365Sep 1, 2009Electrical system. Bmw vehicles: service action-program control units-dme (obd). There is a dme (msd81) software error which would affect obd communication efficiency. Diagnostic results during testing could be incomplete. This would not cause any driveability issues. E60-e61 models.
- 10032364Sep 1, 2009Exterior lighting. Bmw vehicle: replace both halogen low beam headlamp bulbs. The halogen headlamp bulb (standard life) has reached the end of its design life. Later produced vehicles have been equipped with long life bulbs.
