2018 BMW 530E Technical Service Bulletins

390 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2018 BMW 530E. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.

• 11028928Feb 11, 2026Air bags, Electrical system, Seats. A situation may occur where the front passenger seat is not occupied; however, a “fasten seat belt” warning and a front passenger seat air bag deactivation message appears. If the situation is currently present, sit in the seat and move the seat to a slightly different position. The POL (Passenger Occupancy Light) light should now function correctly.
