Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I have now experienced multiple instances where the vehicle suddenly brakes on its own while driving at normal speeds, without any obstruction or hazard ahead. This is not only unacceptable — it's extremely dangerous, putting both myself and other drivers at risk of serious injury. Despite bringing the vehicle in twice to the dealership, the issue persists. I continue to receive dashboard malfunction alerts, and the automatic braking problem has not been resolved. Each time, I am left without a vehicle, impacting my ability to work. …”

NHTSA complaint #11666432, filed 2025-06

“My knee has accidentally opened the driver door during travel which has caused the door to open unintentionally and brings the car to a stop in traffic.”
