Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Upon trying to start my 2007 r1200gs I got an error message on the cluster ews . A quick google search reported that the error code meant ignition key antenna error . Some forums reading revealed that this is a common problem, especially with the 2007 r1200gs, but can happen to other model years and other Bmw bikes too. There was nothing I could do to start the bike. I had to be towed.”
