2022 BMW X3 Technical Service Bulletins

107 technical service bulletins (TSBs) are on record for the 2022 BMW X3. TSBs are notes manufacturers send to dealers about repair procedures for issues seen in the field. They are not recalls and do not by themselves mean a vehicle has a fault.

• 10212786Apr 1, 2022Exterior lighting. The customer complains that under moderate throttle application or on deceleration after throttle application, a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is displayed in the instrument cluster.
• 10211867Mar 1, 2022Body and structure, Visibility (wipers, defrost, mirrors). A whistling noise is present from the fresh air inlet area (engine compartment bulkhead area), in the right front area of the vehicle, at speeds above 40 mph. The noise is loudest when the sunroof is in the vent position.
• 10211861Mar 1, 2022Seats. Milky-white stains (discolorations) in the leather are observed in the second-row seat bottom, backrests and/or headrests. Refer to attachment for details. This only affects vehicles with the Merino leather.

• 10211809Mar 1, 2022Steering, Equipment, Lane departure. The steering intervention for Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is too strong (severe), which can create an uncomfortable feeling for the driver. Background: Steering intervention helps keep the vehicle in the lane if the system detects that a lane marking has been crossed. The steering intervention can be noticed on the steering wheel and can be manually overridden at any time.
