“We were driving on a feeder about to enter a freeway when we were in the middle of the lane, the car jerked hard to the left pulling the vehicle over almost colliding with a large curb. We jerked the wheel back to correct it, but the pull was forceful and unexpected, and could have easily made us jump the curb into a median.”
NHTSA complaint #11771911, filed 2026-10“Steering wheel was uncontrollable and locked when suddenly driver assist turned on automatically. Vehicle was driving on a regular road speed limit of 30-35 miles zone which caused a collision. The steering wheel kept steering the vehicle to the left lane, at one point tires seemed locked, vehicle spun, then hitting a retainer wall and turning 3 times then landing on the side with driver’s side down.”
