“Brakes were unresponsive when trying to slow from 35 MPH for stop sign. Could only depress brake pedal about a half-inch, car essentially coasted to a stop in the middle of an intersection causing a near miss. Car started to shudder violently before coming to a stop. This was the first of 2 serious brake failures for this car.”
