“Vehicle wasn't driving properly, constantly putting 1 qt of oil in vehicle every 2 weeks because I would get a message on dash saying low oil. I took my vehicle to dealership and they said not showing a problem. They ran diagnostic test and still nothing. Same issue happen again and more test were run and finally they said it was fuel pump system and it was fixed. The oil issue continued on until my check engine light came on and I took it to the dealership yet again and they don't know what the problem is. …”
NHTSA complaint #10460280, filed 2012-06“The contact owns a 2009 Bmw X6. While driving approximately 20 MPH, the vehicle suddenly stalled and shut off. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and repaired, but the failure continued. Also, while driving, fuel fumes and smoke were present inside the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 70,000.”
