Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The problem started in the past year (2024-2025) with severe shuddering while driving over 35-40 mph and going over a patched pothole or other irregularity in the road. The shuddering would continue until I slowed to stop. It is quite alarming & feels like the car is falling apart and is more difficult to manuever when this occurs. Once I slow to a stop, the shuddering stops and I am able to proceed once again. I mentioned it earlier in the year (2025) when I went for an oil change but dealer was not aware of what it could be. …”

NHTSA complaint #11695619, filed 2025-10

“Severe shuddering while driving. Sometimes on a smooth roadway and sometimes when crossing over a patched pothole. Shuddering continued until slowed to stop. When starting to go again car did not shudder until next incident.”
