“Problems with keeping tire pressure at proper level. Lately has gotten worse. Losing up to 10lbs over the period of a week in one of the tires. Two other tires leak slowly. After reading the other complaints on this site, I will certainly be elevating this with the dealer I bought the car from to see what can be done. Poor construction of wheels causing dropping pressure in tires is a serious problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10659889, filed 2014-11, 30,000 miles

“I had to take the car to a gas station in the area because my tires were going flat constantly. I was continually putting air in the tires. I would lose 10 to 15 lbs of air per day! After talking to the mechanic, he told me that the bad rim was the problem. These rims were no good and a problem that is dangerous! I was told at that time that this was a constant problem with the chrome wheels. I had gone into a ditch last year because of the loss of air in a rear tire and had another car been coming at the time, I may have been killed. …”

NHTSA complaint #10662139, filed 2014-12, 42,329 miles

“Purchased car on 1/17/2008 as demo 2007 w/6314 mi on way home car was pulling to right was found to have a shifted steel belt on driverside front tire. Tire was replaced. We wanted all the tires replaced because visually the defect may not be detected. The dealership refused because gmac policies are that it has to be proven there is a defect. If we had a blowout at highway speeds and were injured or killed I guess they would replace them. We were told that sometimes a bleb is seen but not always. We replaced all the tires w/coopers at our expense. …”

NHTSA complaint #10216142, filed 2008-01, 6,314 miles

“My car has been in the repair shop at least six times for the same problem and the light still comes on for the tire system sensor. Does Buick know how to fix this? They have supposedly replace the module that includes the door locks and a sensor. Just got it back and it did it again.”

NHTSA complaint #10209389, filed 2007-11, 5,000 miles

“I've had the sensor to my tire monitor replaced 3 times and it continues to come on and cause my tire light to come on, although my tires are fine. It continues to stall when I'm going into 1st gear or changing gears on the highway. When accelerating my pedal will shake”
