“One tire shredded at 70 MPH with less than 12,000 miles on them. Had full pressure one moment and failed the next. I noticed all 3 other tires developed bubbles close to the tread and 2 others started leaking a week later. Sumitomo dealer locally refused to replace or honor warranty.”

In spring 2013 all four tires started losing air, and the low tire pressure light on the dash illuminated. The owner brought the car back to the goodyear dealer, who stated that the tires are fine, but that the oem chrome wheels are degrading, causing small gaps for the air to leak out. Now in summer 2013 the air leaks out so quickly that the low tire pressure lights come on in less than one week after a complete refilling. …”
