NHTSA complaint #11035936, filed 2017-10, 55,499 miles

“While driving on the interstate, without any type of warning indicator , my steering wheel fell off. I manage to reattach it and maneuver out of traffic to safety. Once I made it to safety the steering wheel again fail completely off. My car had a recall on it, that was repaired a few weeks ago dealing with the airbag. I'm not sure if this is a manufactor problem or negligence on the dealership on reattaching the steering column.”

NHTSA complaint #10758705, filed 2015-08, 45,000 miles

“2012 Buick Verano. Immediately upon purchase I noticed the fresh air intake always had hot air blowing through vents. Dealer and GM customer service said nothing is wrong. Other Verano owners would stop me in parking lots and ask me if I had the same issue as they had. It was a defect. After 40,000 miles the timing chain needed replaced; camshaft position solenoid valve replaced; new gasket kit; output shaft seal leaking. At 60,000 miles, the car lost all power while driving 55 miles an hour on highway (other owners- Buick forums - had the same dangerous experience). …”

NHTSA complaint #11128724, filed 2018-09, 61,000 miles

“Driving at highway speeds, the steering would bind slightly in one spot and require extra force to correct normal highway drift.this caused over correction. Dealer could find no problem. Called Buick customer service and steering rack was changed right away. Second steering rack was changed for same problem at 19000 mi.”

NHTSA complaint #10606830, filed 2014-06, 7,500 miles
