“I own a 2014 Buick Verano. I purchased this car in may 2015. I noticed an issue with it's breaking system on 1/20/2016. I was sitting at a stop light, applying the brakes with moderate pressure. Because it had been snowing earlier in the day, I suppose I was pressing down harder than normal. As I was sitting there, I noticed the brake pedal slowly moving to the floor. I pulled off the road and repeated the operation in a parking lot. Indeed, sitting still, with the car in park, the brake pedal continues to slowly move to a completely depressed position, resting on the floor. …”

The vehicle was taken to demontrond Buick (14101 north freeway, houston, tx) where it was diagnosed that the front passenger side brake mechanism pin failed and caused the front passenger side brake pad to wear excessively and unevenly. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 119,000.”

“The contact owned a 2014 Buick Verano. While attempting to place the vehicle in reverse, the brake pedal was depressed, but failed to respond. As a result, the vehicle independently accelerated and caused both a front and rear end collision. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact's wife sustained injuries to the neck and arm that required medical attention. A police report was filed.
