“Vehicle stopped detecting person sitting in passenger front seat. Passenger airbag remains off when there is a passenger. Service message appears on dash stating to service airbag. This is a safety issue that could cause the front passenger airbag to not deploy in an accident. There is a recall on 2005-2007 Cadillac CTS models however, there is no recall on mine for some reason. There is nothing that could have caused this issue other than faulty equipment that should be recognized by GM.”
NHTSA complaint #10548974, filed 2013-10, 90,000 miles“While driving Cadillac CTS the heater in the driver seat would not turn off. The consumer sustained severe second degree burns to both his buttocks. The consumer would like to be compensated for the extreme pain and suffering that he endured. He would also like to be compensated for the loss of his vehicle which was out of service for approximately five months.”
