“We have a severe vibration in our 2007 Cadillac DTS that starts at 55mph and also repeats itself as we come to a stop. Think this vibration is always there, but we feel it at these times. This vibration was so severe that on one occasion we were coming down a mountain side in virginia when it became so violent we barely were able to bring the car under control and bring it to a stop. This is a systemic problem with DTS general motors advised us that their engineers are very aware of this problem with DTS and are working on the problem, but have not figured out how to repair.. …”

The vibration is also bad enough that is vibrates the passenger seat back loudly. Tires have been replaced, brakes checked, wheels balanced x2, etc. On line blogs indicate Cadillac is aware of the problem, but unable to determine problem.”

Thus the computer displays a trouble message in the main instrument cluster service suspension. This wiring disconnect/open disables the air ride feature in the rear struts. …”
