“The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Escalade Esv. The contact stated that when attempting to open any of the doors, the handles became separated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician diagnosed that the handles were plastic and because of various types of weather the holes for the screws had widen causing the handles to separate from the vehicle. The handles were replaced but the failure recurred multiple times. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 500.”
