“When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the backup camera intermittently does not display an image. Instead, the screen shows a blue hourglass, leaving me without rear visibility while backing up. This creates a safety risk because I may not be able to see pedestrians, children, vehicles, or objects behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. …”

The rearview backup camera system seems to be misaligned or improperly calibrated or connecting to the wrong camera when put into reverse. When the vehicle is placed in reverse, the camera image points downward and primarily shows the rear bumper rather than the area behind the vehicle. This significantly limits the rear field of view that the camera is intended to provide. -How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? …”
