“The contact owns a 2026 Cadillac Vistiq. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V394000 (Seats); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the third-row power seat back failed to slide backwards. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure by email and by phone. The failure mileage was 4,200.”

A safety recall was issued for 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ vehicles for a third-row power seatback that may fail to reverse when it encounters an occupant. The manufacturer's original filing with this agency stated the remedy as replacement of the folding third-row seat module, and stated that disabling the feature was an option only for dealership inventory vehicles and for owners who chose it. …”
