“My Cadillac has experienced a history of repeated mechanical/electrical issues and has spent extended periods of time out of service at the dealership for repairs. On today’s date, while driving at normal roadway speed, the vehicle suddenly lost all power without warning, creating a dangerous safety situation. The vehicle became extremely difficult to control and lost normal drivability functions while in traffic. I was fortunately able to safely maneuver the vehicle to a stop without a collision or injury. …”
NHTSA complaint #11736690, filed 2026-05“I was driving south on I75 approximately one mile north of the University Exit at 2:30 PM at approximately 70 MPH when I heard a very loud bang (almost like a gunshot). I quickly surveyed the vehicle (and noted there were no other vehicles around me) while keeping it under control when I heard a second loud Bang, it was about 1-2 seconds after the first Bang. I heard a loud rushing noise after the second bang, that's when I suspected a shattered Sunroof. I exited I75 at University and inspected the damage. The Sunroof was shattered. …”
NHTSA complaint #11492596, filed 2022-11“The thermostat sensor is defaulty. While driving all of the dashboard component lights flash on and off and the vehicle loses power while driving. Called the dealership and the technician knew exactly what it was because he said this is a known issue and when I got the vehicle to the dealership they didn't need to do a diagnostic, they knew exactly what it was. A recall should have happened to avoid this.”
NHTSA complaint #11697515, filed 2025-11“Side view mirrors do not open when you start driving the car. They can only be manually opened by a small button on the door which is hard to find. It is easy to start driving the car with no side view mirrors and not realize you have no mirrors until they are needed.”
