“The turn signal switch, when canceled, will jump to the opposite direction, for example, after changing lanes on the freeway, I turn on to enter the left lane and after moving into the lane I push the cancel on the switch but it will change to a right hand turn signal. The turn sign indicator lights are impossible to see in certain light conditions so the signal remains on. The software is supposed to turn the signals off after so long but this function takes far to long and may not work at all at times. After exiting the freeway I had signaled right to exit the ramp. …”
NHTSA complaint #10492369, filed 2013-01, 2,000 miles“From the date of purchase, I had difficulty turning on the left turn signal. In addition, when trying to cancel the signal after a lane change, it would either not cancel or turn on the opposite turn signal. I complained to the dealership and they replaced the turn signal switch. It still does not work like it should. It is still difficult to get it to signal left and it still is difficult to get it to cancel after a lane change. In addition, the dash indicator lights are very difficult to see during the day. Almost impossible to see them at all.”
