“Our pickup has intermiting windshield wipers. Sometimes they stop completely, change speeds, and itermit by themselves while driving. I am aware of NHTSA campaign id number 98v150000, and when I called GM they said our vehicle wasn't one of the recalled vehicles. How do I confirm if or if not my vehicle should be recalled for this problem.”

NHTSA complaint #700555, filed 1998-11

“Windshield wipers failed while vehicle traveling at 70 MPH during rain storm. Gm currently has recall for 1994-1996 vehicles for this exact problem (campaign #98043). Gm says that my VIN is not on the recall list therefore will not reimburse for repair charges. Getting my VIN on the recall list will force GM to reimburse.”
