The contact stated that the steering column was not securely connected due to a premature fracture of an internal component which was affecting the steering wheel and the emergency brake lever failed to function. In addition, the contact experienced various electrical outages as the failure progressed. The vehicle was not yet inspected by a dealer and the contact was to check with the manufacturer to determine their recommended solution for a dealer to diagnose and repair the vehicle.
