“Goodyear, wrangler rt/s safety defects - sidewall bulges and bumps. Only 8,000-miles on the tires. The first sign that something wrong was the development of an oscillating rotational noice when driving. It grew louder with time. I took the vehicle to a GM dealer to check the bearings, brakes, allignment, , etc. For a porblem. None was found. Then a thumping sound at low speeds developed. I had the auto dealer install my snow tires and all unusual sounds and thumps disappeared. The tire manufacturer asked me to take the tires to a local dealer for an inspection. …”

Both tire vendors said they have had problems with the spare tire. After taking truck back to dealer they said they would have to cut someting on the fram and it would be $40. This obviously has happened before and should be covered.”
