“I was driving the truck and first I got a Software Update Needed Vehicle must be parked and off this was followed quickly be a low tire pressure alarm 3 times in a short distance then I got a message Antilock brake issue do not drive over 62 MPH or vehicle may not stop then the brakes began to randomly slam on and release and smoke began to come out of the air vents. …”

NHTSA complaint #11662746, filed 2025-05

“While driving home multiple lights, messages and sounds came on the dashboard. I stepped on the brake and there were no brakes. I put vehicle in neutral and pumped brakes a few times. I was not traveling that fast so the vehicle stopped before I hit the person in front of me. I drove 10 mpg with my hazards on to the nearest gas station. I called Chevy service and they sent a tow truck N/C to bring to the dealer.”

NHTSA complaint #11760580, filed 2026-08

“When my right turn signal clicks off, it activates my left lane change signal. Took to dealer and was told it functions as it was designed because the tech found two other vehicles that did the same. I've never had a vehicle do that. I don't want to be cut off because of this issue. GM sides with the tech. No one designs vehicles that function way. Been that way since I got it and I keep getting a snow job from dealerships.”

NHTSA complaint #11656380, filed 2025-04

“I have had 3 separate occasions where the automatic emergency braking has engaged with nothing in front to trigger it. Each time was one a busy section of road, two of those times I had traffic behind me nearly causing an accident.”

NHTSA complaint #11685199, filed 2025-09

“In July 2026, I received a message on my truck's dashboard to Service Latch System . Neither of my passenger doors would lock. I brought it into the Hendrick Chevrolet Service center, and they told me the actuators on both passenger side doors failed. Even though the truck is only 2 years old, they said I was past the mileage on the 3-year warranty and I would need to pay out of pocket for replacing the actuators. They replaced them. Then this week, week of September 21, 2026, the driver side door locks stopped working. …”
