2015: “I bought the vehicle for my son. On september 13, the power steering failed on a turn on a city street, and he was unable to control the vehicle and hit a parked car on the opposite side of the street. The insurance company paid for a portion of our vehicle expense, but not the entire note which included taxes, license, fees, extended warranty and interest.”

NHTSA complaint #11394658, filed 2021-02, 140,000 miles

2016: “I put larger tires on my Colorado. The local Chevrolet dealer says they cannot correct the speedometer reading. I am told I can buy the necessary software from GM, but I can't find it, nor can anyone at the dealership tell me how to obtain it. Until now, it was possible to get the speedometer corrected. So, I don't know how fast I am going.”

NHTSA complaint #11316752, filed 2020-03, 41,600 miles

2017: “I was turning into an apartment complex parking lot in noted vehicle when the vehicle suddenly accelerated sending me into the side of the apartment building. I was in the process of applying the brake when this occurred. There was no time to react or avoid the side of building and I incurred damage to both my vehicle and the side of the building.”
