  Reported issue: The power steering gear inlet hose on these vehicles can fracture, causing power steering fluid to spray from hose into the engine compartment.

  Possible consequence: The power steering fluid is flammable and could causean underhood fire if exposed to a source of ignition.

  Remedy: Replace the power steering gear inlet hose with an improved design.
