2000: “The ABS tcs system on my 2000 Corvette has malfunctioned. I've been told that this can't be repaired. After researching this seems to be a chronic problem on this vehicle. My Corvette only has 49000 miles on it and this is a serious safety issue involving control of the vehicle during an emergency braking condition, especially on wet roads.”
NHTSA complaint #11386239, filed 2021-01, 49,000 miles2006: “My vehicle with 85,000 miles began emmiting a continuous raw gas smell when I refill the fuel tank. Smell is coming from the left side, rear, wheel well. Smell is intense to the point I cannot store inside the garage as I fear a fire hazard and a toxic smell is coming into my house interior. Smell seems to end once fuel level goes below 1/2 full.”
NHTSA complaint #11308096, filed 2020-02, 85,000 miles2012: “Sever gas smell occurs sporadically. When this happens, I can't drive with the top up or place vehicle in my garage. It went to chevy the first occurrence and they did not inspect, but did say there was no problem. It has since had another 4 occurrences of gas smell. It is not overflow because the tak was less than 1/2 full 3 of 4 times this happened.”
