“The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet EXPRESS 1500. The contact stated that immediately after turning the vehicle on, the air bag light illuminated. The contact stated while researching online he was made aware of NHTSA campaign number: 14v117000 (air bags). However, the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was not included in the recall. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 82,300.”
