Example complaints
Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.
“Seat belts on both front seats are poorly placed and cause the seat belt to lay across the neck of the driver and front seat passenger. This has also caused excessive wear on the belts to the point of being frayed. In an accident, it appears that severe neck injury would occur due to their placement. This is a mark iii conversion van so I am not sure if the fault lies with the manufacturer or the conversion company.”
NHTSA complaint #716373, filed 1999-12“The consumer has been experiencing problems with automatic transmission. Vehicle bounces and sways side to side during any speed. In addition the seat belts aren't long enough to secure their driver. Also, the fuses in the electrical system started failing.”
