NHTSA complaint #10918050, filed 2016-10, 81,000 miles“I was parking my vehicle. I had put the vehicle in reverse to back up and the gears just started to slide up and down. The gears would not catch at all, they just started sliding. It stayed in reverse. The car would not stop moving backward, so I had to put on my emergency break! I was very shuck up. This is dangerous and alarming when your gears go out. I had my car towed to my house. I will not drive a car that stays stuck in reverse. What if this should happen while I am driving. This would cause a serious accident for me and other safe drivers. Please fix this defect!!!!!!!! …”
