“Air controls switch back & forth from fresh to recirculate. Car has refused to start twice & antitheft system activated. Intake manifold leak upper and lower. I had the gasket replaced and GM canada paid for the labor and I paid for the parts, approx $180 canadian. I believe there was 78000 km (48,000 miles) on the car at the time. Seatbelts are slow to retract. Clunking noise in front end, they can't identify or fix. Recall on rotors caused pads to fail.”

We purchased the car used last december. There was only one owner previous to our purchase. We did not realize there was a problem with the seatbelts until now because we had not installed a carseat until the birth of our daughter this summer. I cannot properly secure our child's carseat when the shoulder belts do not lock. I cannot get the shoulder belt to lock, so I cannot install the carseat. …”

There were no warning signals prior to the incident. The vehicle was taken to a private repair shop, where the mechanic was unable to determine the cause of the problem.”

With out jumping on the breaks the driver side seat belt will lock up, so you can't look to left side to get into lane or get on hwy on ramps.”
NHTSA complaint #854574, filed 1999-12“When getting into the vehicle and trying to use the shoulder seat belts, they are retracting slowly on the driver's side.
