“Engine light keeps coming on while driving or stationary. I had a diagnostics test done they said it is the rocker arm solenoid. They said there is a national back order and 1 of our local dealers had 6 cars waiting for this part at the time and had already been waiting for several months. This is obviously a manufacturing defect that GM should be doing a recall for.”
NHTSA complaint #11302538, filed 2020-01, 95,694 miles“My check engine light came on, I took it to the shop and replaced a solenoid, problem is still there. Now my car dies on me and when I push on the gas it hesitates. My car has under 75000 miles on it. I've already replaced both wheel bearings. My A/C doesn't want to come on at times. My radio will come on with no key in the ignition,”
NHTSA complaint #11221029, filed 2019-06, 70,000 miles“While driving my check engine light came on. Plugged it in to see what codes it was reading both o2 sensor and well as as cam shaft, check engine litlght is still on sensing the same codes. Went to 2 different garages and they are unable to find the issue. I'm unable to get my car inspected due to the issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11297061, filed 2020-01, 85,643 miles“For a few years after purchasing my vehicle I noticed sometimes it would stutter or throttle and surge while driving, but every time I took it to the dealer they were unable to duplicate the problem. Now the source of the problem I believe is error code p16d0, but there is no recall on this part that is mentioned in this code. General motors should compensate vehicle purchasers who have run into this issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11362957, filed 2020-10, 74,500 miles“My wife was doing 70 down one of our busier country roads in michigan and the check engine light came on followed by an engine power reduced message causing the car to decelerate down to 30mph causing cars to swerve and go around us. She could have been rear ended and extremely hurt becuase of this.”
