“Head on collision hit the brakes and truck jumped. When vehicles hit seatbelt didn't lock right away which threw me forward and into the drivers side door. It was a head on accident and airbags never went off which make the emt's and police concerned do to the damage to the truck..”
NHTSA complaint #10463912, filed 2012-07, 168,000 miles“Front and rear seatbelts lock so tight sometimes that the only way for relief is to unbuckle them and re-fasten while driving! All four retractors are not working properly. Once the seat belt is un-fastened, the seat belt does not completely retract back in. This leaves the seat belt dangling after use and potentially too loose for next passenger.”
