Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“On 8/25/2025 I purchased a used 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD from a auto dealer and they had put new tires on the truck that aren't rated for a 2500 HD, I contacted them and they offered me $400 to replace them with the correct tires that cost me $1319.78 they refuse to help me anymore which is putting my life and others at stake if a tire is to blow out hauling heavy loads that the tires aren't rated for. That 3/4 ton truck is suppose to have tires with a (E) rating, also the TPMS system does't work because all the tires are under inflated for that truck. …”

“The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated that while inspecting the vehicle, the contact became aware that the front driver’s side wheel stud was fractured and the lug nuts on all four wheels were mismatched. Additionally, the front end wobbled while driving over cracks on the roadway. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the front driver’s side wheel stud and lug nuts needed to be replaced and scheduled an upcoming appointment for repair. The failure mileage was approximately 180,000.”
