Approximately five minutes later, the windshield wipers began operating while the switch was in the off position. Shortly after, the wipers stopped working and remained in the up position on the windshield. They remained in that position the rest of the day. The following day, when the vehicle was started, the windshield wipers began and stopped operating on their own while in the off position. …”
